When you watch a martial arts master in battle, such as one of the Jedi in Star Wars, you get a sense of the pure action of the Sage. When a warrior with a strong Sage is attacked from all sides, he knows that the only way he can survive is by completely quieting and centering his mind. This means pushing aside all the mind-chatter coming from Saboteurs. Doing so allows the Sage to concentrate all his mental power on the urgent task at hand.
