Oliphint, himself a rather original apologist, courageously puts into question the usefulness of the expression presuppositional apologetics and suggests instead that because the project of Van Til and his school was to defend the faith within the larger structure of the relation of the Creator to the creature, a more apt name for this task would be covenantal apologetics.
