It’s a matter of being a scientist, saying “Okay, I don’t know what’s going on. Let me try and figure it out. What’s the raw data?” Well, the raw data is that experience seems to be happening. I don’t have a CLUE what that ACTUALLY means, but we’ll call it experience and that it seems to be happening, whatever THOSE two words mean. Examine that closely, experientially, not conceptually.
