And the things that appear in the newspaper and that seem to excite the adult imagination are always those things which they cannot possibly understand, because they haven’t learned anything at all of the much more interesting well-known [to scientists] things that people have found out before. It’s not the case with children, thank goodness, for a while–at least until they become adults.
