Beware, then, of having a form of faith which does not purify your lives, a profession of belief in Christ which allows you to live in sin with impunity, for if you have this, however near you may seem to be to the people of God—even if you are counted in with them—yet God will not reckon you as His, for He is the same Lord who ‘afterward destroyed them that believed not.’
