And in a remake miracle, Elijah didn’t pray for God to part the Jordan River; he struck it with his rolled-up cloak. Each miracle was precipitated by a concrete step of faith: setting up a sacrifice on Mount Carmel, baking a loaf of bread, and striking the Jordan River.
