Ofra’s colonialism makes the world perceive Israel as a colonialist entity. That’s why enlightened Jews in America and Europe are ashamed of Israel. That’s why Israel is at odds with itself. Although the founders of Ofra wished to strengthen Israel, in practice they weakened it.
