we can begin understanding the force of taṇhā, of desire, more clearly and experience the freedom of its end, even if only for a few moments at a time. One way to explore this in your practice is to notice when some simple desire arises in the mind. It might be a desire for a cup of tea, a piece of chocolate, or your next vacation.
