So Christians and non-Christians can share the same education and expertise, can appreciate together advances in the field and admire the most skilled practitioners, whatever their faith. It is important to be as skillful, diligent, savvy, and disciplined as we can possibly be. In Colossians 3, verse 23 we are told “whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.” Those who take this biblical directive seriously will seek the respect of their colleagues for the quality and integrity of their work.
