For adults with ADD, group therapy has several advantages. First of all, it gives people a chance to meet and interact with other people like themselves, people who have had to deal with many of the same problems and frustrations in life. Second, the members of the group can teach each other a great deal. They can talk about their own experiences and share tips and pointers that they have found helpful in their own lives while learning similar information from other members of the group.
