The funny thing is, everybody at Wal-Mart knows that I’ve fought all these technology expenditures as hard as I could. All these guys love to talk about how I never wanted any of this technology, and how they had to lay down their life to get it. The truth is, I did want it, I knew we needed it, but I just couldn’t bring myself to say, “Okay, sure, spend what you need.” I always questioned everything.
