His arms wrap around my back, holding me to him as he looks at me intently, “I love you, Rory.” Hearing those words come out of his lips fills me with a feeling I’ve never had before, a sense of fulfillment and desire mixed with peace. We stay like that for a bit, smiling at one another, just gazing into each other’s eyes with pure bliss.
