So if you woke me up, you really think she’d still be asleep?” Alex gulped. “You’re telling me she’s standing right behind me or something, aren’t you?” “No.” The young wizard glanced backward. No one was there. He sighed in relief. “Okay, then. Then I’ll—” “She’s standing right behind me.” Grimloch grinned. A familiar form slid out from behind the towering shark man, one that moved as quietly as a silence-spider. Eyes flashed in the dark. The look of a death stalker marked her face.
