For anyone who really needs a cup of tea and a nice book. Take a break. You’ve earned it.
“Run away with me,” the mage had said, her eyes alight. “You like tea. I like books. Let’s open a shop somewhere remote and forget the world exists.”
“You are as fierce as an ice leopard, and just as beautiful.” “Flattery won’t change my preferences,” she replied pointedly. He shrugged. “Can’t fault a man for trying.”
It’s one of the reasons her nobility tolerates her … other quirks.” “‘Quirks’ is kind for that witch.” Reyna paused. “Is it offensive to call someone a witch, as a magic user yourself?” The mage snorted. “It’s because I’m a magic user that I can get away with it, love.”

“I know you fancy her, and I do appreciate a love story—however uninspired it may seem.
“Pirates are people too! Just because I pillage doesn’t mean I’m breaking the law.”
Simple to you, perhaps, swathed in magic and untouched by reality.
Is this a date? Would you like that, or do you prefer to take things slower? Hang on, are you single? Because you seem fantastic, and I’d love to take you out—but if you’re in a relationship, this will get really awkward—”
They say the stories we love share a bit about ourselves,”
