You have me.” “Yes, and it’s baffling.” Reyna spoke like it was a common truth.
“You are worth every moment of my time. Do you understand that?” Reyna traced her back, laughing a little. “I understand it.” “Do you believe it?” Now her silence was telling.
“If you know the truth, my lord, then you’ve already determined my fate. While I pray for courtesy, it’s necessary to warn you that anything less will not occur without a fight.”
