Many are offended by the fact that their destiny is from the Lord rather than being afforded the fancied opportunity to “make their own” destiny. While it is quite understandable that humans initially desire to feel as if they are making their own destiny, I have come to understand that it is far preferable to know that we are living our own destiny, a destiny which was authored by God, our Father.
