“Hah. You’re definitely a relationship type of girl. You fall hard and easily. You are a fairytale, rainbows, and butterflies, always believing  there's good in every person you meet, type of girl.”
Ari left this morning, and it shockingly bothers the shit out of me.
wonder what Paul would say to me at this moment. He would encourage me, and I can hear my brother's voice in my head as if he's right here next to me. I look at my reflection and picture him behind me, talking to me through the mirror. I imagine him in his uniform, and I swear I can see him. His brown hair is carefully brushed to the side as it always used to be, and the dimples on his cheeks are vividly present in the mirror. “Don't let that asshole get to you. My little sister’s a badass. Stay strong. You’ve got this. Make me proud.”
“Once you pull down those pants, my cock will be the first and only that will ever be inside of you. Do you understand that, Ari? If I find out any other man tries to take what’s mine, he’ll wish he hadn’t.” He threatens into my ear. Something about his possessive threat has me even more drawn to him.
“Oh baby, I think you forget that I’m the military’s most lethal trained killer…”
“I’ve sent way too many souls to hell. I wouldn’t hesitate to send another if they even look at what's mine.”

“Mm, the color red, just like a cherry.”
“But even if you choose to leave, you will always be mine. Even if you decide to run, your soul is trapped within me, and I’m never giving it back.”
Everything goes black, and the last thing I see is Paul. He’s in his Navy uniform and playing the guitar to a song we both love so much. He looks up from his guitar, his brown eyes meeting mine, and he looks like he’s glowing. He smiles and says, “Don’t fall asleep. Don’t fall asleep.”
