From projection to personal empowerment
It’s a universal truth that the character traits we don’t like in other people, those things that drive us crazy and get us angry, are the character traits we don’t like in ourselves.
We avoid ourselves by trying to fix and control others. So, if you’re dealing with ‘difficult’ people in your lives who don’t seem grateful and aren’t responding to the help you’re offering – stop. Turn these emotions around from projecting outward, to inward. Ask yourself the question: Who are you really angry at?
We have to believe that we are worthy of a love that empowers and appreciates us, and you need to be ready to invite this into your life when it arrives on your path.
Ego is simply a mask for fear. What I’ve learned, though, is not to pretend it doesn’t exist. I use it as a guide to ensure that I’m listening to my spirit.
