“I want you more than I want my next breath, sweetheart. Not just the pieces you've decided are good enough to show the world, but fucking all of you.”

“You're so fucking beautiful, Is. Every inch of you.” I let my eyes roam hungrily over her body. “I’m not hiding what you do to me anymore.”

“I’m coming for you, Isobel Bradley,” I joke quietly, my voice strained from the effort it takes not to kiss her all over again. “You can run, but you can't hide.”

“Don't play with me, little girl. I'm in no fucking state to handle it.”

I walk inside, irritated and practically crawling out of my skin with the need to pull Issy into a dark corner and make sure she remembers who makes her feel.

I kiss her again, and I've never felt this full. Everything I've ever wanted is in my arms, holding me just as desperately as I'm holding her. This woman will be my wife, my family, my whole fucking world, and I'm going to make it my life's work to make damn sure she never doubts how much she means to me.
