“Daijōbu desu,” which is pronounced “dye-jobe-dess” and is perhaps the single most useful phrase in Japanese after “sumimasen,” (“I’m sorry.”) Daijōbu desu means I’m OK, it’s OK, that’s fine, don’t worry about it.
