She’d been named a combination of Alexis’ mother’s name and mine. It was a concept she’d gotten from the book Richard had given her. Alexis’ mother’s name was Lisa, and I requested we give a twist to the spelling of ‘Mary’. From there, we came up with Lisa-Mare, it worked well, seeing she was born on their birthday. Alexis’ due date was October 20th, but she went into labor on the seventh, and endured an emergency caesarian section in the early morning of the 8th.
