Why something instead of nothing? Why is there creation at all? It’s always valid to question the question. How do we know there is something? And what is this something we know there is? Of course, this just loops you back to consciousness and the inevitability of C-Rex. The unstated assumption in this question is that nothingness, or non-existence, is a primal state, or at least a possible one.
