“I love you too.” I shake my head slowly. “I know we’ve said the words to each other before and I meant them then, but I’ve never loved you more than I do now.” Her head falls to the side, and she stares back at me with the biggest smile on her face. She eliminates the space between us, placing her lips against mine. “Same for me.”
