“I really forgot how annoying you are,”
A comforting silence stretches between us, one that can only be bound by years of friendship,
“You’re a pain in my ass, you know that right?” “And yet you want to marry me, so it sounds like you’re the problem to me,”
“You don’t have to understand, but as my friend you do have to support it.”
“Everybody has a weakness, Josh, you just need to find it.”
“It’s like you think I won’t dick punch you on our wedding night,”
I have to refrain from giving him the finger as I leave. It’s that or an axe to the face, I’d enjoyed both.
Why is it when people say no offense, they always follow it up with something really offensive?
We want to find a best friend, a lover, a confidant, someone who sees all of you, your highs, your lows, and everything in between, and falls for you anyway.
“For once I just want to feel like I have the power. I hate feeling like everything is just out of control.”
“We all make mistakes,” I add in a whisper. “It’s how we fix them that counts.”
