There are many ways to pursue this goal. In the strategies that follow, I’ll outline a specific approach that I’ve found to be particularly useful: applying limits at different scales of work at the same time, from your overarching missions, to your ongoing projects, to your daily goals. Intentional limits set concurrently at all three of these scales are more likely to succeed than focusing on just one scale in isolation.
