And no matter what anyone said about the state of things since everything that had happened with the rival gang’s leader, Ryder Draconis, Oscuras were absolutely not welcome here.
“You know what they say about getting too comfortable when you’re married. If you don’t watch out, you might find your wife’s attention wandering…” “My wife’s attention is always wandering,” he joked as we crawled on. “But she’ll never grow tired of me.”
he’d told me straight he knew what my problem was. You’re wild, Rosa. And you’d better make sure no one ever tames you.
“Will the great leader of the Oscura Clan be in the dog house tonight then?”
“Only because I didn’t invite her along,” he teased and knowing what I did about his wife, I had to agree with that assessment.
“A morte e ritorno,” I said fiercely, quoting our family motto. To death and back.
Roary wouldn’t have been caught if he hadn’t been protecting me and as they’d hauled him away, I’d sworn on all I was that I’d get him out of this place somehow.
Firstly and most importantly, I needed to find Sin Wilder. He was the one I’d come to break out of here after all. According to my contact, Jerome, he’d been stuck in isolation for way too long, though he couldn’t tell me what he’d done to earn himself that severity of punishment.
“I’m Rosalie Oscura of the Oscura Clan. I was raised by Bianca Oscura, mother of the Storm Dragon who I’ve ridden with in the clouds countless times.”
I’d bedded two of the Celestial Heirs for the moon’s sake! And they were the most powerful Fae in the whole kingdom.
He was so caught up in making me his that he wouldn’t even realise that he’d become mine until it was too late for him to escape me.

“I came here for you,” I said slowly, watching what I could see of his face for some reaction. “I can come for you too, if you’d like?” he offered suggestively.

“Are you trying to get me hooked with the foreplay, little pup?” he asked in a low voice. My pulse stumbled at his words and I swallowed thickly as I looked away from him before shifting a little closer again as I looked back. “My foreplay is so good that I could have you begging at my feet within two minutes, Lion boy,” I mocked and Roary’s smile changed into something that had my blood heating.
“You’re forgetting something, Twelve,” he said, speaking right into my ear as his hands slid over my body and he continued to search me. “I already have you. The Warden assigned you to me. Your ass is mine.” His hands gripped my ass as he said that and he squeezed firmly enough to make me gasp.
Eisha was the reason I was in here, but I didn’t blame her for what had happened.
I was on the verge of breaking apart when I remembered the moon. Remembered that this was how Wolves became mated. Screwing under a full moon with your equal was almost guaranteed to make you bond.
His gaze hardened and he turned his head to let me see the pattern of thorny roses which he’d had inked onto his skin. They covered the moon mark entirely. There was no way to see it had ever even been there at all.
