Everybody thinks that if they’re under this umbrella with me, if I get mad eventually, I’m OK and I’ll come around. But there’s only certain people I do that with. And some people would make the mistake of thinking they were one of them; some people take your kindness as weakness.

I think I upset a lot of people by being myself, actually. I just wasn’t the one who didn’t say something. I wasn’t a spring chicken. So yes, if I thought something wasn’t right, I spoke up about it.
