Matt wasn't Rick's, and he didn't want to be. Rick was chaotic, untidy, and ridiculous and not remotely the kind of dom Matt was attracted to. Rick didn't behave as a good dom should - he got into more trouble even than the character he played on the show, and that was saying something.
