I like watching my dad’s eyes dazzle with amazement when I show him how the wind can sound like a song when it hits certain trees, or how the flowers move as if they are people, leaning in whatever direction you walk. It makes me understand why Peter loved showing me around Neverland—watching someone else fall in love with it makes you fall in love all over again.

It’s a sunny day, the weather is perfect, and Neverland is beautiful. Peter flies higher so we can see the entire island, and I soak it all in like a piece of art. Three rainbows intersect each other across the entirety of it, and all the colors are enhanced by magic in the air.
A love that is so abundant, that not even all the stars in the Neverland sky could account for it.
