So, to summarize what happened, just picture Germans: Germans going south to Italy and causing the collapse of the Roman Empire; Germans (the Franks) going into France and taking over there, too; Germans going into Britain and pushing out the Celts. Just picture Germans going everywhere—conquering, marauding, pillaging, pushing out in every direction as they spread out from their own homeland. It kind of makes you wonder about the Germans, doesn’t it, especially since both World War I and World War II were fought against Germans. But, of course, before you actually get down on Germans, remember, if you’re of English decent, that’s you.
