God hadn’t set me adrift. God hadn’t abandoned me. God had allowed the waves to pick up and the winds to blow so that I would bury my face in Him. What God is after in your life and mine is relationship. It’s proximity. It’s intimacy. It’s peace. He wants you. He wants me. He wants us to find our relief in Him.
