He and Fluffy walked me to the gate. The dog gave me a happy bark as a goodbye. The man didn’t even grunt. I didn’t take it to heart. People showed friendliness in all kinds of ways—not everyone was going to be a Fluffy. Without the Rufuses, the world would be too noisy a place.
