My heart goes all warm and fuzzy, and tendrils of excitement curl around my lungs because we’re going on our first real vacation since we got back together, and this one feels so different from the ones we’ve taken before. Because unlike when we went to Disney in college, neither of us is pretending or holding back our feelings. And unlike when we took that trip to the mountains after Eric died, there’s no clock on us, no deadline to adhere to, no ending hovering over us.
