“And maybe it’s selfish of me to want so much with so many… Or maybe it’s selfish of you to expect me to give the others up for you. Would you ask me to give up my friends? My hobbies? My family to be with you?” “Of course not.” “So why is this any different?”
Endless tunnels, twisting and turning, a girl with silver eyes brighter than the moon, a stream of tarot cards then a pair of fiery wings that twisted up into the sky. A necklace of thorns then a girl with lilac hair covered in mud. A huge palace reached above me then a Dragon with jade green scales landed on its roof, two babies lying in a cot, then two dark haired twin girls clutching hands at the bottom of a darkened pit.
Is he seeing what happened to Tory and Darcy when their parents died? He so is, isn’t he. SO FUCKING LIONEL KILLED THEM THAT SNAKE
“Fuck,” Ryder growled and I lifted my head in alarm at his tone. Elise gasped and lurched forward, pushing me aside and resting her ear to his chest. “His heart’s beating!” “You jumpstarted it, Inferno,” Ryder said in realisation, his dark eyes brightening. “And it hurt like a bitch.”
At least they’d sent me off nice, but had they been planning on leaving me down here or carrying a ten ton Lion back up to the surface? Also, where the fuck was my Ryder token? I pocketed the lot with a smirk then glanced down at my shoulder which was marked with a red handprint. Oh there it is. I looked to Ryder with a grin and he scowled like I’d kicked him in the dick. I know you love me, Rydikins. Your secret is out.
So i do like this relationship between them. I just dont like when it gets overly sexual and uncomfy.
This was our Divine Moment. The stars had decided to bring us together as Elysian Mates tonight of all nights. My little monster and me bound together for all eternity. And nothing in the world, not King, not anything that had happened, or the three guys around us could make a single doubt flit into my mind.
My gaze fell to Gabriel last and my heart pounded at the look of utter despair in his eyes. He’d seen this for the two of us. Or so he’d thought. He’d claimed me like the stars had already offered me up when in fact they’d just been playing a cruel prank on him. He’d been alone for so long, he deserved so much more than to have the one thing he’d pinned his hopes on snatched away from him like this.
