the plane collided with the side of Ryder’s face and landed on his shoulder. Whoops. He slowly lifted a hand, grabbing the plane with a snarl. He unfolded the page and a furious noise left him as he scrunched it up in his fist. I whipped up Dante’s textbook, opening it and standing it on its side before Ryder looked this way. I ducked my head behind the book as I fell apart with laughter and Dante joined me behind it, laughing loudly. “Did you see his face?” I snorted. “Stupido serpente,” he laughed.
