Here’s the thing about working in admin at a do-gooder nonprofit. You are not the rock star. You order lunch for the rock stars. All the policy analysts and research fellows and liaisons to the this or that, they need constant care. Behind every man is a strong woman blah blah puke. Well, behind every nonprofit’s earnest tears-in-the-eyes mission statement is an administrative team keeping the organization’s belt from falling around its ankles.
