“I guess the only thing I can say is that people are complicated. Don’t drive yourself crazy trying to make sense of his behavior. Sometimes you can’t. Sometimes you just have to accept that people make selfish decisions all the time without thinking or caring about the consequences for the people they’re supposed to love the most.
