This was never the life he wanted, but the one we were forced into. I gave him his freedom; it’s not something I will ever have. I had to let him go, to finally have the family he deserved with Sienna.
“This is your safe space. Your sanctuary. And I want to listen. Give me your demons, Rosa. Let them out of your brain and into mine. Let me take some of this pain from you.”
I rest my forehead against hers. And, for some reason, it feels like home. Something I’ve never truly had.
“And why am I your treasure, Luca?” His full lips twitch into a smile. “It’s because you are. You are my stolen treasure.”
“Luca?” “Please tell me I can kiss you.” The easiest answer I will ever have to give leaves my lips. “Yes.” “Oh, thank fuck.”
“It’s you, Rosa. Just simply by existing, you are perfect. Even if you want to just lay here and let me worship your body for the night, we can do that. This is new for me too. What I do know is, anything with you will be everything.”
Putting my hands back behind my head, she leans forward, her hand grabs my throat to hold herself upright.
“Well, fuck, that’s new,” I choke out. “Oops, sorry.” She lifts herself back up, her cheeks now red. “Leave the hand there, Rosa.” I tug at her arm to put her hand back.
“No matter what happens next, my treasure, you will always be my home,”
When I leave here, I will be leaving my heart here with him, too.
“We will have as many last kisses as it takes to finally be back where we belong, tesoro.”
“Good girl. Now spread those legs wider for me.”
“Tell me where you want me, baby.” “I want what you said earlier–fuck me so I can feel you for days.” “As you wish.”
“For now, I just need you inside me.”

“I love you, brother. Never forget that. We might not have had the family growing up, but I’m glad we made our own.” His voice breaks as he speaks. “I wouldn’t change it for the world.”
“I love you, Rosa. I’ll be yours forever. One day we will have it all, whether it’s in this life or the next. My heart only beats for you.
It’s just me and you now. Forever.”
