Ask people what the biggest threats to wildlife are, and many will answer something like ‘climate change’ or ‘plastics’. We are used to the images of a starving polar bear, a burning koala, or a bird with its beak trapped in the plastic rings from a six-pack. Sure, these are a threat to some wildlife.
