He seemed to enjoy the sound and continued to thrust into me. “Is this the trick to get you to behave?” he asked as he placed kisses down my neck. “I have to fuck the brat out of you?”
“I’m the only one fucking you, Shiloh. If you don’t want me to think I’m a god, you better start moaning my name.”
“What’s wrong?” I asked. He laughed in between pants. “You’re the only woman who has ever made me go weak in the knees.” I laughed as I wiped away the streaks of tears next to my eyes. He went still. “Those are good tears, right?” I smiled at him. “I came so hard it made me cry. So I would say yes, they are good tears.”
“Still feeling angry?” I snorted. “I don’t think it’s possible to still be angry after three orgasms.” “It shouldn’t be possible to be angry after one orgasm, but you were ready to commit murder. I figured I would play it safe and give you three.”
“That first time you grounded me, I really thought I might have met my soulmate.” His lips pressed to my spine, making me squirm. I tried to pull my wrists from his grasp as he started trailing kisses up. “I am certain now that you are,” he added.
I moved down the stairs. “Ooooh, Mr. X!” I shouted through the house. I was no longer the mouse in this terrifying game he forced me to play; I was the cat. I paused my descent to aim at the light fixture on the hall wall and shot it. More glass hit the ground. “Come out! Come out, wherever you are!” I shot the next light farther down the hall.
I cupped his chin and dug my fingers into his face around his mouth to hold him still. As I pressed the tip of my knife to the side of his neck, I said, “I am not yours. I never was.” Knox leaned his head close to Mr. X’s ear and whispered, “She’s ours.”
