asked how long a transplant would give me and he said maybe an additional 5 to 10 years. I thought about all that I would go through with the transplant, the new medications to prevent rejection, the various risks and dangers of the surgery, the long recovery, and the huge expense of a transplant, and I thought, “Why would I go through all that for another five years of watching Netflix?”
That’s where i am at.
