When I Think of You

If I told him the truth, if I really let it out, I’d tell him all the things I’ve rehearsed through inner dialogues with shower walls and bathroom mirrors.

Because on the dance floor when you asked me what I wanted from you, I wasn’t ready to say it out loud. But I am now. My answer is everything.

Sometimes we get stuck admiring our problems, but nothing changes if we don’t actually confront them.
