Will you continue to replay the memories of yesterday, or will you meet the moment and make the most of what is in front of you now?
You are exactly where you need to be. This is the perfect day to start your life again.
There is great power in not knowing.
When you do not know what is next, you enter the realm of infinite potential.
One day you will realize that happiness is not what your house looks like, but how you love the people within its walls.
When there is no awareness between what you perceive and the way that you respond, anything can control you.
Decide what’s worth your energy, because what you engage with is what you empower.
most of us live mindlessly being pulled to each milestone, each thing we were told to reach for, to move toward, to achieve.
Our lives were woven together by a storyline we didn’t write.
Over time, we become consumed by the stiffness of trying to be what we are told, existing in contrast to the soft, effervescent truth living deep inside.
You cannot desire what you do not already contain. Desire is a projection outward that is proportionate to potential inward.
Maybe you don’t need to find more energy, maybe you just need to find a dream that makes you actually want to get up in the morning.
You’re not failing because you’re not motivated. You’re not supposed to get far on a path that was never yours to walk.
You will become someone who is more capable of appreciating what matters, who will not be as reckless with their choices, who can no longer be so easily swayed or mindlessly trusting.
You do not have to be grateful for everything in your life. You do not have to be grateful for what you survived, for what you didn’t know, for the lessons learned too hard.
Without you being here, nothing—not one single thing—would be precisely the same. You are an integral, irreplaceable thing. You came here to do what only you can.
Maybe you should trust that in what isn’t working, because it might be trying to guide you to what will.
What is meant for you will arrive in your life and it will remain in your life.
Notice what stays. Notice what is constant. Notice what perseveres.
other people see you the way they need to and intend to. What matters, in the end, is the way you intend to see yourself.
You are not here to grow the parts of you that were never destined to come fully into form.
Kindness is evidence of impenetrable strength.
Their ability to not reciprocate unkindness to a world that often deserves it makes them catalysts for the deepest healing to occur.
I hope you learn to experience living, instead of just imagining how your life is seen.
Finding yourself also requires losing who you once thought yourself to be.
Figuring out what’s right for you is acknowledging that different things are right at different times—alignment shifts as you do.
It is often when you reach complete exhaustion and exasperation with this view of the world that you begin to go inward and discover something solvent—the power that’s within.
The things you want to create also want to be created through you.
You will have to stop trying to make yourself fit into places you are no longer meant to be.
Life speaks to us in subtleties, in the smallest possible ways. In the little clicks, the funny coincidences, the ways the ordinary collides into the serendipitous.
Listen for the quiet yes,
You will have to learn how to outgrow some things you love. You will have to learn that some things are right for a time, but not forever.
The people, places and things that phase in and out of your life come to you for a specific purpose,
once their mission is complete, you are able to move onto the next experience.
If you do not know what to do next, it is not because you need to seek more answers, but rather, accept the ones you’ve already been given.
It’s time to learn how to use what you already have, and be as you really are.
strengthen your faith in the fact that you will be taken care of no matter where you find yourself along the way.
When we find the courage to look long enough into the eyes of our demons, they dissolve into crying children, just asking us to set them free.
Your biggest feelings are not always the most accurate ones.
There is nothing wrong with you for needing to take life at your own pace, in your own timing.
Your unwillingness to press forward in outdated ways is not a sign of your noncompliance, but that the spiritual freedom you have cultivated from within is finally beginning to take root.
You are here to defy what’s expected and create a new normal,
You are here to nurture the feeling a life most fully lived would give you in your chest, not what you imagine it would appear in someone else’s eyes.
There are a lot of things you can give up on in this life, but love is not one of them.
To not give up on love is to realize that it will not be something that sweeps you off your path, but helps you stand more firmly on your own two feet.
it is something you heal yourself into being able to fully receive.
You must find a way to make peace with yourself, even if you cannot madly love every last aspect of who you are.
You become who you really are when you start allowing the brightest parts of you to shine without apology,
You are not supposed to be able to effortlessly and numbly cut things that were once a part of you out and set them free.
In everything you choose, you must first ask: but what will this do to my soul?
