Toxic masculinity in Silicon Valley has been a mini-trend online lately, with stories in tech magazines about parties with models paid to attend and coercive boss/employee hot tubbing. But as always, masculinity at Amazon looks more like stoicism and duty than cocaine and ball-pit orgies. It’s having months of work brutally torn apart in a meeting and saying, “Thank you for the feedback.” It’s calling into the WBR from vacation without being asked.
