It must be a warm day, for January.
Giselle Schneider
January already? Ethan died first thing on December 22nd.

the good thing about the truth is it’s true, and there’s no arguing with the truth. You may not like it, but that doesn’t make it any less true.

Giselle Schneider
Then why isn't Ethan stuck in Greenbrier rather than His Garden of Perpetual Peace?

Are they back in the living room? I thought they were still in the kitchen.

but she didn’t answer. She just kept staring at the paper. “If you’re going to start asking yourself why your aunt does anything, you’ll be busy for the rest of eternity.”
Giselle Schneider
Looks like she answered.

“In death, lie. In living, cry. Carry me home to remember to be remembered.” The words hovered in the air, like a strange silvery bubble. I reached out to touch them, but they faded out of sight as quickly as they had appeared. I looked at my mom. “Did you see that?” My mom nodded. “Casts are different in this world.”
Giselle Schneider
I thought the scroll wasn't a Cast.

As I rounded the corner, my dad was pouring himself a glass of sweet tea. “Did Ethan call?” Amma stiffened, her cleaver poised over an onion, but my dad didn’t seem to notice. She started chopping. “Caroline has him busy waitin’ on her. You know how she is, classy and sassy, just like her mamma was.” My dad laughed, his eyes crinkling in the corners. “That’s true, and she’s a terrible patient. She must be driving Ethan crazy.”
Giselle Schneider
I have to wonder about Christmas and New Years. No call. No visit. Nothing. And Aunt Caroline must be spelled as well, right?

Whatever the Keepers were up to, they definitely didn’t want anyone to know about it.
Giselle Schneider
I was wondering this myself. What do the Keepers have to gain from Lena claiming herself, an apocalypse, and adding Ethan's death to the Caster Chronicals? The end of the Old Order and the start of the New Order changes the way things were, such as Marian's punishment for Liv's actions. And it was stated the Keepers like to kill off Waywards. Why?
