The corner of Paolo’s mouth ticked up. "Oh, sweet cheeks, this ain't violent. Trust me, I could show you violence. This is me being calm. Now, I'm going to cook waffles with chocolate chips, whipped cream, and caramel syrup. Do you want some?"
Gin grunted. "Ash would die without me, and we're in the middle of trying to have a baby." My brows nearly kissed my hair line. "You have a surrogate?" "A what now?" Gin asked. Enzo shook his head "Don't get him started, he's an idiot who refuses to understand he cannot carry a baby." "It's worth a damn try."
He looked between Gin and me. "Holy shit, there are two of you." Gin grinned. "Yeah, but you can tell us apart. Paolo is a bat man where I'm a one hammer kind of guy. And he’s more polyamorous, where I’m monogamous."
Giancarlo and I exchanged a look. So, it’s not just me that notices him taking care of me, right? Gin grinned and said everything without saying a word. Nope, he totally is.
"That's my job. It should be my only job." "Are you saying you want to be a stay-at-home dad?" he joked. "That can be arranged." "Gianpaolo." "Damn, got in trouble," he muttered to himself.

The sound of the toilet flushing and water running made both our heads snap in the direction of the bathroom. Standing there, washing his hands, was Giancarlo with a huge grin on his face. "Yo," he said. "Don't mean to interrupt this really sweet moment but I might have clogged your toilet." I groaned. "Goddamnit." "Get out, Gin!" Paolo laughed so hard he started coughing.
