Before he was murdered, Colonel Rowe also tried to get CBS‘s 60 Minutes interested in the contents of the Cutolo affidavit, the murders, and the CIA crimes. CBS replied on July 13, 1987, refusing to proceed with the matter. Despite the responsibility of the media to expose government corruption, CBS chose to cover up. This cover-up made possible the continuation of the drug trafficking and more murders. Over the years I encountered many deep-cover drug-pilots who offered evidence of the CIA drug trafficking to each of the television and radio networks, and discovered the usual cover-up.
