Forced to sit in a room with someone I find tiresome, annoying, or irritating, I have a choice. I can haul off and tell them that I think they’ve got the brain capacity of the hairball my cat hacked up and that their ideas have about the same content, or I can knit a row and calmly state, “I’m not sure I understand your premise.”
