“I do think we are trying. You know, every time I see someone being misogynist in the name of transsexual causes, I tell them what they’re doing. I try to distribute as much feminist writing as I can to other transsexuals who perhaps might be potentially persuaded or do not have much of a political engagement. But it’s an uphill battle. I think the lines are getting further apart. And what’s worse is that I see so many of them, transactivists, transgenderists, now calling themselves transsexuals proudly, some of them without even bothering to go through the process.
