Interesting! I think all writers do this to varying degrees. I plan to try and "get into the zone." I feel this would take a lot of practice, probably worth while. I guess the closest I know I came to this is when I did some steam of conscious writing. But it was more just to try it and gave me nothing useable.

When a character appears in a scene at the beginning of the story, give the reader only enough about the character to inform that particular scene. Hold back any information that is not essential.
